There will be four social events during the Symposium:

The event will be held in foyer of Faculty of Civil Engineering. See the picture in the right column with a path from metro/tram/bus station Dejvická (metro Green Line A, point A), to building of Czech Technical University in Prague (point B).
Free entry for all participants (including one-day participants).

Boat trip + Dinner: 28.6.2017, 21.00 – 23.00 – 45 EUR
Dinner on a boat is unforgettable! Especially during summer months when you can enjoy pleasant summer twilight and pleasantly warm night. Two hours cruise will be best way how to relax and chill after long day in meeting rooms, and concurrently see the most significant sights of Prague. You will pass by St. Agnes convent, Prague castle, Rudolfinum, the Charles Bridge and the National Theatre. Rich offer of cold dishes, hot buffet and sweet will satisfy everybody on the boat.
The boat is docking on Tier 16. See the picture below with a path from metro/tram/bus station Staroměstská (metro Green Line A, point A), to quay 16 (point B). You can also use bus 207 to station Nemocnine na Františku which is above the quay 16 . You can use bus 207 from metro stations Staroměstská (Green Line A) in direction to Ohrada or from Náměstí Republiky and Florenc (Oragne Line B) in direction to Staroměstská.

Guided Tour: 29.6.2017, 16.30 – 18.30 – 25 EUR
The insightful historical tour lets you enjoy the city´s most famous sights. The tour starts at the Hradčanská station – in walk distane from the venue and continues to the Prague Castle (Hradčany), listed as the biggest castle complex in the world. It established itself as the spiritual centre of the Bohemian sovereigns from 9thcentury and since 1918 (foundation of Czechoslovakia) it has served as the residence of presidents. The tour then follows the “Royal Route”, the former promenade of kings and part of the official coronation route by foot. Winding down to Lesser Town where you will cross the famous Charles Bridge and continue to discover remarkable monuments in the Old Town area. This remarkable journey ends in front of the Old Town City Hall with its extraordinary astronomical clock.

Symposium dinner: 29.6.2017, 19.30 – 22.00 – 55 EUR
Enjoy the summer evening in a nice restaurant Cesta časem – Bernard pub near the Symposium Venue. You will be charmed by the atmosphere of traditional Czech pub. Have a good meal and spend a nice evening time with your colleagues.
